Today's OOTD

I went to have a catch up with some friends that I hadn't seen in a very very long time today, one of which being about one and a half years ago who is now also PREGNANT! so there was a lot of catching up to do, we sat in an overcrowded café for about 2 hours talking babies and all the rest of that girly chit-chat, but it seemed to fly by, and I have now vowed to myself to not let it get that long before seeing a friend again and to make more time for them, I forgot how nice it was just to sit chatting for as long as you want with them as I haven't really been able to do that recently.
Anyway, it was extra cold today so I needed to make sure I was staying warm whilst in town.

Today's Outfit:

I wore a lot of Topshop today! You ready?
Topshop faux fur coat.  Topshop lace cutaway jumper.  Topshop faux leather skater skirt.  Primark Scarf
Topshop black knee high socks (at my ankles).  H&M black boots.

Asos Ring                                                              Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick in 107

I'm hoping my boyfriend will see the distinct 'pregnant' at the top of this post and freak out!

My Current Skincare Products

I thought I would do a post on the products I am currently using on my skin.
I actually rarely change the way I care for my skin and the products I use, as I have never used anything better than this and I swear by tea tree. It seriously is one of the best things my mother ever taught me and I have recently convinced my boyfriend that he is seriously missing out by not using it, and bought him his very own little tea tree face cleansing set, similar to mine.

So I use a lot of Boots own tea tree and witch hazel products.
Before I go to bed I will use the cleansing wipes to remove my make up, I keep meaning to buy the cleansing and toning lotion to use instead of the face wipes as I think it would remove my make up better, but haven't got round to that yet. I then use the foaming face wash, they advice to use this in the morning as well however I don't usually do this as I don't feel my face needs washing that often, I do however sometimes give it a wipe with a cleansing wipe in the morning just in case I have missed a bit of mascara that has then been smudged across my forehead in my sleep; After rinsing the face wash off I then gently pat my face dry with a towel and apply the night gel, this also moisturises my face as the face wash can dry it out a little. If I have none or just small pimples I will apply the night side of the spot wand mostly within my t-zone and if I have a big disgusting spot I will apply tea tree and usually by morning it will be gone or drastically minimised  I don't use the pure tea tree oil every day as it is quite strong and I'm not sure how damaging to my skin it would be.
The shine control day moisturiser is rarely used, I only really use it when my skin is going through a rough stage and I feel it needs the extra help and the Simple moisturiser is brilliant especially in the winter time as I can get dry skin around my cheek and nose area.

I hope this wasn't too boring and that it was a readable and enjoyable post.
Sorry about the picture quality recently, I really need to learn to understand my camera better and get into using it more!

Have a nice day/evening/afternoon.

Happy Late Valentines Day

I wasn't able to post this before Valentines anyway as I wanted to show what I gave my Valentine.
Feburary 14th is also the day we got together so I suppose that makes it our anniversary.. if non married couples are allowed to call it that.
For his Valentines present I left this little hamper on his doorstep
it included a bunch of his favourite things, pretty much all of them were edible but that's a big part of Valentines.. Chocolate, right?

I was a very very spoilt girl on the 14th by him and as well as many other things, I was told I was allowed a shopping trip, I was allowed £40 to spend on what I liked, which I will show in a later post.
We went up to Bristol for the day and at first went to the Aquarium, we also went to the "best restaurant ever!" called Za Za Bazaar, which is a fixed price buffet restaurant which had six different sections that you were able to get food at from all over the world.
We ate ourselves silly then waddled out to go shopping.

Hope you all had a good Valentines Day.

Let's go to the beach, each lets go get away!

I have finally found some time to do a blog post!
So Tuesday consisted of a beach walk, it was extremely chilly so I did end up chucking a few chunky jumpers on but it was a great day.

(Very quick) OOTD

So today I am off to the beach (it's winter here) for a brisk walk with Jon and my puppy, I am aware we may sound like crazy people but it is so refreshing! However I am staying reasonably sensible and making sure I wrap up warm today.

Topshop Top
I absolutely adore this top, it's dainty and delicate and I am trying to stop myself from excessively wearing it in case of discolouring.
Around the neckline and across the shoulder is embellished with small flowers and beads and it is scrummy!

Topshop Leigh Jeans
I have always been very wary of wearing jeans and for the past four or five years I just haven't worn them, I never liked the look of them on me and just grew to hate them, but I recently received  these 'Leigh' Jeans by Topshop and actually love them! they aren't your usual jean material and actually feel quite a bit softer than regular jeans but I am definitely giving these a thumbs up right now and they will be keeping me very warm today.

My trusty (but very dirty) H&M boots
These bad boys have got me through this winter without my feet freezing to death, I have worn them in the horrendous British rain and our unexpected snow they are indestructible and I can wear them with pretty much anything, they have metal detailing either side and a small rubber heel. Unfortunately I thought it would be a good idea to wear them on a dog walk, not thinking even the slightest about the rain we have had and how muddy the fields will be, resulting in a very caked pair of bootys.

George (Asda) Coat
I know it isnt  where everyone would want a coat from, but hey I'm a student..
I had actually never bought clothes from a supermarket before, not really for any reason, it just hadn't crossed my mind and I stumbled across this buy. It was only £5! and wait for it.. in the little boys section..it is aged 12-13yrs but I am quite petite so it actually fits me perfectly unlike many coats (because of my height) I have worn it for a lot of the winter and it has been ideal really I do really love khaki jackets like this and SO WHAT if it was only £5 from a supermarket.. who's judging here?

John Lewis Earmuffs
These were also a gift and are amazing, not only do my ears stay nice and toastie but I can also plug my iphone in if I like and listen to my music through them. I highly recommend these, especially those who like walking or travel a lot by foot.
The outer side is knitted and the inner (for my ears) is faux fur.

Scarf and Socks
Both hand-made by my wonderful Mother.

Time to embrace the cold outdoors, wish me luck! x

Blog Stress!

So this is it! The beginning of what I have been meaning to do for so long. I have seem countless amazing blogs and bloggers and always aspired to be doing what they are doing..So here we go..I thought.. However it is a lot harder than it seems, I have been trying to figure this blogging-malarkey out but just cannot get the hang of it yet.
I have been getting myself excited when I get ten more page views but then to realise that it is just me pressing 'view blog' to try and figure this out is gutting BUT I WILL GET THERE.. she says, However right now I just feel like curling up in bed and watching a film but as they say 'Dreams don't work unless you do'
